Since 130 years, the name C.A. Götz jr. stands for the production and supply of premium quality stringed instruments and accessories.
The family business was founded in 1884 by Conrad August Götz in the Vogtland region, one of the global centers of music instrument making since the 17th century. Located in Wernitzgrün/ Markneukirchen, the company started with the production of violin pegs, strings and rosin.
The company is now managed by the fourth family generation. C.A. Götz jr. offers a wide product range of more than 5000 premium articles for retailers, professional musicians and music enthusiasts and most of all for instrument makers. All products come from selected workshops and manufacturers. The use of the best materials, excellent workmanship and highest tonal quality are our premier prerogatives.
The company’s own “Götz” brand stands today, just as 130 years ago, for premium quality and is highly estimated among international experts. Only selected products carry this seal of quality.
The same is true for the “Lapella” care product series for string instruments which had originally been launched by C.A. Götz jr. in the end of the 19th century and which have recently redesigned with all natural ingredients to meet the requirements of musicians in the 21st century.
